Top 7 Travel & Tourism web developers in Basel

In Basel, a business website typically costs CHF 8,000 – CHF 25,000, while a custom web app runs CHF 30,000 – CHF 150,000. Agency day rates of CHF 130-220/hr are the main driver, followed by integrations and how much custom functionality you need. Tecklogist quotes travel & tourism projects from from CHF 999 at a fixed price.

A business website usually takes 3–6 weeks; a custom web app takes 8–20 weeks. Delays almost always come from late content, unclear scope or third-party integrations, so agree those before work starts.

The usual options are WordPress + booking engine, Webflow, Custom booking platform and Shopify. The right one depends on how often your team edits content, which systems the site must connect to and your budget, so be wary of any Basel agency that recommends the same platform for every client.

Ask about a booking engine that takes a real payment or deposit, not a generic enquiry form that requires manual follow-up; fast-loading, high-quality imagery and video without sacrificing Core Web Vitals scores, since travel is a visually led purchase category; clear display of financial protection and bonding (ATOL, ABTA, or local equivalent) to build trust before a customer commits money. Then ask for two or three live travel & tourism websites they built, who will actually work on yours, and what support looks like after launch.

This list is published by Tecklogist, and we rank ourselves first because travel & tourism websites are core work for us: fixed prices, fixed timelines and code you own. The other Basel agencies are ordered by the travel & tourism evidence in their public profiles, and none of them pay to appear.
